So, then, how does one celebrate it?

It's a celebration of a myth from Ul'dah of The Lost Lady! It's been around for centuries, Sylvain! It's the one day of the year where all women dress up in their finest clothes for a day on the town, pose in front of backdrops to be admired, while nibbling away on treats.

The most important part is these ladies are to be waited on hand and foot by their loyal seneschals. To put it plainly, it's a day for women to be appreciated by men. They needn't be related or in love or anything of that sort, either.

It's a fantastic holiday, especially for a Little Lady such as myself!

[It's... probably bad that the caveat 'They needn't be in love' is what got him more on board with the idea than before, but... Well. Love is a pesky notion anyway.]

It certainly sounds like a fantastic holiday. Will you be celebrating it even if Aefenglom itself does not?

Of course I will! But I feel it isn't fair for my fellow ladies to go without such a wonderful celebration...so I wanted to attempt to set something up, if possible. I would need a base of operations, if you will, and I'm still fairly new to this place so it may be more difficult to organize than I imagine...

Ohhh...but you agree that no lady should be without, do you not?! We deserve a day of our own to feel special!

She sounds lovely! I'd love to become acquainted with her, especially if she's a fellow seamstress!

We do indeed! Felix hasn't yet had a chance to convert our ballroom into a training hall, haha~

I think he'd claim to be averse... He'd be less averse if his lending a hand would be confined to strictly setting up and tearing down decorations, but he's not a very personable companion.
(Frame the building of decorations as training, and he'll be more likely to assist.)
