Recently, I learned that Bernadetta loves to take care of plants. It made me wonder what hobbies of yours I don't know about. I'm sure there are some.

Anyway - the weapon work you brought to me seems to be going well. I've reworked the spells I think would adapt best to what you've asked for, now I just need to implement it... And if it fails, I'll figure something out. Don't worry~

If I am able to make one, I don't see why I couldn't manage to make many. He'll get his own, don't worry.

[Even if when they were kids their play was the more rough and tumble sort... Partially because playing chess against any of the four of them - Glenn included - was no fun until he started making up strategies on how to lose without letting it look like it was on purpose.]

Board games, huh? I do remember a chess set rather prominently situated in your estate. I'm glad you were able to continue playing. I'd offer a match, but I'm sure I'd be no contest.
I sometimes think of learning needlework, or floral arrangement, but... for me to do those things would be considered trite. And with my strength, they're foolish endeavors. They have no place being called hobbies of mine.
Hunting, perhaps, though I've only ever embarked with groups from court.

Hm. So long as you didn't waste time on such things when you ought to be doing something more important, I don't see why anyone would consider it trite. To speak cynically, some might be endeared to a king with softer hobbies, you know?
And to be less cynical, I'm certain Mercedes would love to teach you, if you asked her. You know she's unbelievably patient, and your strength being an obstacle would be something to work through together, rather than something to be ashamed of.

And some would think such a king irresponsible and weak. If I were to take up any such hobbies, I think I'd be keeping them to myself.
She has tried to teach me before, though... I just kept bending needles and ripping the holes I was meant to mend larger. She's kind, and a good teacher, but I don't want to waste her time furhter.
